Throttle, schedule & start
In one sentence
Decide how fast the campaign sends and when it starts, review a final summary, then press Start — MsgBuddy paces the send so you don’t overwhelm your number.
Building the campaign, end to end
Create the campaign
Go to Campaigns → New campaign. It’s saved as a Draft immediately, so you can build it over time without anything sending.
Pick the template
Choose an approved template and fill in any variable mappings (e.g. pull {{name}} from
the contact’s name field).
Choose the audience
Select All, a segment, or a specific list.
Set the pace (throttle)
Choose how many messages go out per minute. A gentler pace is safer for your quality rating, especially for large or newer accounts.
Choose when to send
- Send now, or
- Schedule a date and time (uses your workspace timezone).
Review and Start
The review screen summarises everything: template, audience size, who’s excluded and why, pace, and timing. When it looks right, press Start.
Why throttling matters
Sending thousands of messages in one burst looks unnatural to Meta and can hurt your quality. A steady drip looks like normal business activity.
For your first big campaign, or on a newer number, start with a modest pace. Once your quality rating is consistently green and your limits are higher, you can speed up.
Scheduling tips
Scheduled campaigns fire in your workspace timezone — the one you set in business profile. Double-check it before scheduling, and aim for a sensible local hour (nobody loves a promo at 3 a.m.).
How this connects
- Timing uses your timezone.
- Pace protects your number quality.
- Once started, you steer it from Pause, resume & retry.
