Billing — plans & pricing

In one sentence

MsgBuddy has four plans from Free to Scale; you pay a monthly fee plus usage, and WhatsApp’s own per-conversation charges from Meta are passed through at cost.

Note

Growth is the popular choice for teams that have outgrown “just replying” and are running regular campaigns. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial of Growth — no credit card required.

How pricing works

Your bill has two parts, plus a pass-through:

  1. Plan fee — the monthly price above.
  2. Usage — if you exceed your plan’s allowances.
  3. Meta charges — WhatsApp bills businesses per conversation. MsgBuddy passes these through at cost (no markup) — see the note below.
Heads up

The Meta per-conversation charge is set by WhatsApp, not MsgBuddy, and depends on conversation type and country. It’s separate from your plan fee. So your true cost of a big marketing campaign = MsgBuddy usage + Meta’s conversation charges. Budget for both.

Managing your plan

Billing is Owner-only, reached from Settings → Billing (it’s deliberately not in the main sidebar). There you can:

  • See your current plan and usage.
  • Upgrade or downgrade.
  • Manage payment methods and view invoices.
  • Track your trial status.

Scale (custom)

Big volumes, many numbers, custom integrations, an SLA, and guided onboarding are handled on the Scale plan — contact sales@msgbuddy.com for a quote.

Tip

Watch the Usage page as you grow. Upgrading a step early is usually cheaper and calmer than repeatedly overshooting your allowances mid-cycle.
