Channels & integrations
In one sentence
Manage the ways MsgBuddy connects to the outside world — your WhatsApp number(s) and other channels like Telegram, Email, and SMS.
WhatsApp (your main channel)
WhatsApp is the heart of MsgBuddy. From Settings → WhatsApp (or Integrations → WhatsApp) you can:
- See each connected number’s status and quality rating.
- Add another number via Meta Embedded Signup.
- Complete number onboarding (PIN + OTP) for a new number.
- Import templates from Meta.
- Disconnect a number.
- Use an advanced manual Cloud API setup if you have specific IDs and a token.

Other channels
Beyond WhatsApp, MsgBuddy can connect additional channels:
| Channel | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Telegram | Reach customers who prefer Telegram |
| Email conversations alongside chat | |
| SMS | Plain text messages / fallback |
Each channel a contact uses gets its own conversation — remember “one conversation per channel” from the Inbox. So the same person messaging you on WhatsApp and Telegram appears as two tidy threads.
Managing connections
The integrations screen lists your connections with controls to set a default, activate/deactivate, or delete each one.
Most businesses run on WhatsApp alone and never touch the other channels — that’s totally fine. Add others only if your customers actually use them; every extra channel is another inbox to watch.
How this connects
- Channels feed the Inbox.
- WhatsApp specifics live in Getting Started.
