Keyboard shortcuts
A handful of shortcuts make MsgBuddy much faster. The exact list is always available inside the
app via the keyboard shortcuts help (look for a ? or the shortcuts option in the menu).
The essentials
| Shortcut | Does |

| Ctrl / ⌘ + K | Open global search — jump to any contact, conversation, or page |
| / (in the composer) | Insert a canned response |
| Esc | Close the current dialog or panel |
If you learn only one, make it Ctrl / ⌘ + K. It’s the universal “take me there” — start typing a customer’s name or a page and hit enter. It replaces most menu-hunting.
In-app help
MsgBuddy includes a keyboard shortcuts help panel that lists every available shortcut for
your current screen. Open it from the app menu (or the ? key where available) to see the full,
always-current set — shortcuts can expand over time, and the in-app panel is the source of
truth.
Tips for speed
- Keep the Inbox filtered to Open + assigned to me and work top to bottom.
- Use canned responses (
/) for anything you type more than twice. - Snooze chats you’re waiting on so your open list stays actionable.
- Turn on push notifications (top-bar bell) so you don’t have to keep checking.
